Studio Prep Guide

Thank you for booking your studio session with me! Here are some important tips to help you prepare, make the most of your time here and create beautiful, relaxed images:

let's get ready to create some MAGIC

1.arrive on time & ready to go

Please arrive dressed and fully ready by the scheduled start time of your session. Studio bookings are often back-to-back, so arriving late may shorten your shoot time. Perhaps plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early in case of traffic or last minute touch-up's. It's also best to have kids & babies dressed so we can focus on starting as soon as possible. However, if you need to do a quick change when you arrive, that's ok also.

2.wardrobe & styling (the fun part)

* My studio is very neutral toned with light Earthy colours, choose neutral or Earthy tones for a timeless look.

* Avoid busy patterns, logos or bright neon colours.

* Coordinate outfits, you don't have to match!

* Bring a spare outfit for babies & toddlers, accidents can and DO happen :)

* For ladies, I have a few flowy dresses & dramatic knits including off the shoulder & floor length that is available for you during your session.

3.hair & makeup

* Make sure everyone's hair is styled to how you like it.

* Avoid last-minute tans that might not have settled.

* For the Men - shave or trim any facial hair that you wouldn't want to have visible in your images.

4.babies & toddler

* Ensure they’re fed & well-rested before the session.

* Bring any comfort items (favourite toy, dummy, blanket).

3.little details matter

Shoes and socks sometimes show in the photos—choose ones that match the outfit or go barefoot.

Iron or steam clothes ahead of time to avoid wrinkles.

4.relax & enjoy!

You don’t need to force smiles or poses. I’ll guide you the whole way so you can just be present and enjoy this time together letting your soul shine through for me to bottle up!
